Russian robotics entered the service in the Emirates and Turkey
Innovative robocops, developed by a Russian company, began the service in the police of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, and Sabihi Gokchen Airport in Istanbul, Turkey.
The robots are responsible for patrolling, surveillance of the officers and visitors of the capital police facilities, temperature measurement and law enforcement. The robot is capable to communicate in the English and Arabic languages. According to the manufacturers, the Russian innovation is the only service robot over the world, which speaks Arabic.
The robot at Sabihi Gokchen, a Turkish airport, is equipped with a ticket scanner: it helps find the gate, orient itself in the terminal, call a taxi, talks about rules of behavior and security, knows several languages: Russian, English, Turkish, Arabic and Spanish. Thanks to the special obstacle sensors installed on it, the robot moves freely, avoiding obstacles even in places, where people are crowded.
“Airports are one of the most popular destinations in the world for robotization. And Russian robots are one of the most popular solutions in this market: bots assembled in Perm can already be found at the airports in the United States, Chile, at Vnukovo airport, and now also in Istanbul. Russian technology in the field of service robotics is already well ahead of the competitors, and we plan only to grow," - said the development director of the company-designer.
Veronica Nikishina, Director General of JSC Russian Export Center, also noted that today in entering the foreign markets, Russian exporters are increasingly getting support from the state, and the manufacturers of high-tech products have particularly high chances to receive such support. The support is provided within the framework of the national project "International cooperation and export".
